Benamor Golf is a superb 18 hole golf course in the Algarve (South Portugal), just a few kilometers east of the city of Tavira. East of Faro, it is the most popular of the golfcourses in the Algarve.
This course was completed in the spring of 2000 and it offers the players some of the best mountain and sea views in the Algarve. Enjoy your round of golf in peaceful surroundings, with just the sound of bird song and the occasional cheer of a fellow player. The course is a Sr. Henry Cotton Design. It is a popular course, hence it can be a bit crowded in the season. The Head Pro on this course is Bart van der Wind.
The staff is friendly, to guarantee an enjoyable golfing experience. This golf course is the one, closest to Bed and Breakfast Cas al Cubo.

Golf course Quinta da Ria is located within the Ria Formosa Natural Park. The course is built straight on the beach and the view towards the ocean and the picturesque village of Caçela Velha is superbe. Caçela Velha and Fabrica beaches have recently been declared the most beautiful beaches in the world. Quinta da Ria Golf Resort is designed by world-renowned Golf Course Architect – Rocky Roquemore. He wanted to maintain the original landscape with the ancient carob- and olive trees as much as possible. Still, the course had to be a challenge to the players. This goal has fully been reached. More than that even, since the lake of the 17th hole has a small island that is now a sanctuary of rare and endangered birds.

Golf holiday in the Algarve: Quinta de Cima
Quinta de Cima Golf Course is designed by the American Architect as sister-course to Quinta da Ria. It is the championship course of the resort. Cima offers less sea view and more challenge. Your round of Golf starts gentle with a PAR5, and the difficulty progresses quickly. The course is littered with dog-legs, large sandy bunkers and lakes, surrounding the greens. Nature is respected, since traditional carob and olive trees are preserved. They add a lot of character to the landscape. The challenging features of this golf course within an area of pure natural beauty will definitely make you return.

Castro Marim golf and country club
Castro Marim Golf Resort is situated near the village of Castro Marim. It is a well designed course in an undulated landscape with great views. Hire a buggy, because walking the holes is top sports here! The lay-out consists of three 9-holes courses. The oldest two are Guadiana course and Atlantico course. More recently, Grouse course was added. Guadiana and Atlantico differ from Grouse because they are littered with pine trees. Grouse is the more open course. The area is quiet and natural which allows wildlife like wild boar, birds, rabbits and even rarely, the Iberian Lynx, to visit the grounds.

Golf course in the Algarve: Quinta do Vale
Golf course Quinta do Vale is the easternmost golf course of the Algarve. It overlooks the Guadiana River and across to Spain. Severiano Ballesteros, the European Player of the Century, designed the course. This beautiful special course with 3 par 5, 3 par 4 and 3 par 3 is pretty challenging, with a lot of water, wonderful greens and ok fairways. The course is designed to attract golfers of every level. Each of the 18 holes has its own specific character and they are fully integrated into the surrounding natural landscap. Playing Quinta do Vale it is an unforgettable experience.
